Happy Place
'Happy Place' is a sensory chair for children with Autism. One of the most common physical symptoms of Autism Spectrum Disorder is the inability to process everyday sensory information as a normal person would. The purpose of this chair is to bring joy and provide a safe comforting space for these children who face daily challenges. This chair is designed to rock gently to stimulate motion and balance. Modular textural components are attached to the armrests, which enables the users to experiences a personalised tactile sensory experience. A pouch has been incorporated to provide easy access to comfort objects.
