These drawings represent spaces that are meaningful to me, but that I no longer have access to. All these rooms have either been demolished or belong to other owners now. I still have, though, written memories of these rooms: its appearance, senses and personal stories. Employing these texts as visual material for my drawing, I have constructed and engrained my thoughts and emotions into these elusive spaces. By expressing my own memories in an abstract way, I hope these places can go beyond the personal and become, for the viewer, a space of evocation and contemplation.
