The 'Near and Far' series serves as an extension of the ink-ish graphite landscape drawings to examine the notion of the third space, the in-between-ness, and the sense of being an insider and an outsider simultaneously in a new culture. Employing the geographical images of my current physical locality generated by digital geo-tools and my own foot prints, this series of work examines the relationship and the fluidity between nature and culture, place and identity.
